Frosty the Snowman

Written by my friend Dong Wood

Since I can remember frosty the snowman has always been my favorite animated Christmas special. I am now 27 years old and I have enjoyed it since I was a child. I always find it amazing how frosty came to life from a hat being on his head and brought uncontrollable cheer to the kids and others in the neighborhood. He was so cheerful with a large smile; it rubbed of on me just by watching it. I also found it to be very funny how everytime professor Hinkle tried to get his hat back, he failed.

When I was younger, my mom and I would watch it together and after years and years of begin her to keep up with when it came on, she got tired and finally recorded for me. After years and years of moving, I finally lost it. It's ok though because now that I have Direct TV offers, my children and I watch it together every year together. The best thing about this is the fact that I still enjoy and so do my children. It always comes on the last two weeks of Christmas several times and we watch it everytime.

It sure is nice to know that my children get a kick out of the same Christmas specials I enjoy and sometimes they enjoy them a little more.
